On 8 June, led by General Sir Gordon Messenger and Dame Linda Pollard, a landmark review into health and social care leadership was published .
The review recognises the real difference that good leadership can make in health and social care and identifies many outstanding examples contributing directly to better service.
However, it also finds a lack of consistency and coordination in the way that leadership and management are trained, developed and valued.
