We strive to be a motivating power in reducing healthcare inequalities for Black and other minority ethnic groups; whilst tackling social exclusion.
To achieve this we are offering tools for educating, inspiring, and equipping a community of professionals with evidence-based leadership skills.
We strongly believe in sharing experiences of good practice to drive systematic change.
Out of all NHS board members only 13.2% are BME
Only 10.3% BME are Very Senior Managers (VSM)
44.4% of BME men in nursing experienced harassment, bullying or abuse from patients
29.5% of BME women in NHS experienced harassment, bullying, or abuse from patients
NHS staff who died due to Covid were BME
Nurses who died due to Covid were BME
Doctors who died due to Covid were BME
During the pandemic in 2020….
